Master of Engineering Management (MEM), professional code: 125601, is a professional degree set up by the state in 2010. Its purpose is to meet the urgent needs of China's modern engineering development for engineering management talents, gradually improve the engineering management talent training system and innovate the engineering management talent training mode, Improve the quality of engineering management talents in China. After graduation, the graduate certificate of master of engineering management and professional degree certificate will be awarded. The Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council approved Northwest University of technology to recruit postgraduates with master of Engineering Management (MEM) in 2010. In 2020, our university plans to recruit 130 part-time master of Engineering Management (MEM) graduate students (hereinafter referred to as "part-time MEM")
1、Cultivate
(1)Training objectives: to recruit postgraduates with master of Engineering Management (MEM), aiming to cultivate students who love the motherland, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, support the socialist system, abide by discipline and law, have good moral character, have a sense of social responsibility to serve the country and the people, master systematic engineering management theory, as well as basic theories and expertise in relevant engineering fields, High level and application-oriented engineering management professionals who have strong planning, organization, command, coordination and decision-making ability and can independently undertake engineering management.
(2)School system and learning methods: part time MEM implements a 3-4-year flexible school system, and adopts a variety of ways and flexible time arrangements for non part-time learning. Generally, the course study shall be completed within one and a half years after enrollment. In principle, the professional practice shall not be less than half a year, and the time for writing the dissertation shall not be less than one year.
(3) Training fee: the part-time MEM training fee is 69000 yuan - 109000 yuan. The training fee shall be paid according to the academic year
2、Registration conditions
(1)Basic conditions
1. Citizens of the people's Republic of China.
2. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have good moral character and abide by discipline and law.
3.The physical condition meets the physical examination requirements specified by the Ministry of education, the Ministry of health and the China Disabled Persons' Federation.
(2)Educational qualifications
Personnel with more than 3 years working experience after bachelor degree; Or a person who has obtained a national recognized higher vocational college degree or a bachelor's degree, reaches the same educational level as a bachelor's degree and has more than 5 years of working experience; Or those who have more than 2 years of working experience after obtaining a master's degree or doctor's degree.
3、Registration category
The part-time MEM enrolled by our university can be divided into two types: non directional employment and directional employment. MEM with directional employment shall be employed according to directional contract; MEM with non- directional employment shall be employed according to the two-way choice between themselves and the employer.
4、Registration method
Registration includes online registration and on-site confirmation. All candidates participating in the postgraduate entrance examination must register online, go to the registration point to confirm the online information and collect their own images and other relevant electronic information, and pay the registration fee according to the regulations.
(1)Online registration (according to the registration time published online by China graduate enrollment information)
The registration time is 9:00-22:00 every day from October 10 to October 31, 2019.
The forecast time is from September 24 to September 27, 2019, from 9:00 to 22:00 every day.
(2)Registration process
1. Candidates should log in to "China graduate enrollment information network" (public website: https://yz.chsi.com.cn/ , education website: http://yz.chsi.cn , hereinafter referred to as "research and recruitment network") browse the registration instructions and register according to the online announcement requirements of the Ministry of education, provincial education enrollment and examination institutions, registration sites and enrollment units.
2. During the registration period, candidates can modify the online registration information or fill in the registration information again, but one candidate can only keep one valid registration information. No supplementary application shall be made within the time limit, and the registration information shall not be modified.
3. Candidates only fill in one major of one enrollment unit when registering. After the examination is over and the Ministry of Education announces the basic requirements for candidates to enter the retest, candidates can understand the adjustment methods, planned balance and other information of enrollment units through the "research and recruitment network" adjustment service system, and independently fill in multiple adjustment volunteers in parallel according to relevant regulations.
4. During the registration period, the examinee's education (student status) information will be verified online, and the examinee can view the verification results of Education (student status) online. Candidates can also log in to the "China higher education student information network" (website: https://www.chsi.com.cn/)Query my education (student status) information.
Candidates who fail to pass the online verification of academic qualifications (student status) shall complete the verification of academic qualifications (student status) before on-site confirmation.
5. Candidates should carefully understand and choose to fill in the volunteers in strict accordance with the registration conditions and relevant policy requirements. In case of failure to meet the registration conditions and relevant policy requirements, resulting in subsequent on-site confirmation, examination, retest or admission, the consequences shall be borne by the candidates themselves.
6. Candidates should accurately fill in personal online registration information and provide authentic materials as required. If the examinee fails to take the examination, retest or admission due to the wrong filling of online information or false information, the consequences shall be borne by the examinee himself.
7. For specific requirements related to online registration, please refer to the national regulations on the administration of postgraduate enrollment in 2020 (which has been made public on the official website of the Ministry of education at www.moe.edu.cn) and the registration instructions of "research and recruitment network". It is suggested that the majority of candidates reasonably arrange the registration time, avoid the peak at the beginning and end of registration, and avoid network congestion.
(3)Site confirmation
1. On site confirmation time
The specific time shall be determined and announced by the provincial education enrollment and examination management institutions according to the application situation in their respective regions.
Please pay close attention to the announcement issued by the provincial education enrollment and examination management organization in time, and check and confirm the personal online registration information at the designated place within the specified time. If it is overdue, it will not be handled again.
2. Site confirmation location
Candidates should choose the registration point designated by the provincial education enrollment and examination administration where their work or registered permanent residence is located to go through the online registration and on-site confirmation procedures.
3. Site confirmation procedure
1) Candidates should check and confirm their online registration information at the designated place of the registration point within the specified time. They will not do it again after the expiration of the time limit.
2) Candidates shall submit their resident ID card, academic certificate and online registration number, which shall be checked by the staff of the registration point.
Candidates who fail to pass the online verification of academic qualifications (student status) shall not be confirmed on site if they fail to complete the verification of academic qualifications (student status) before on-site confirmation.
3) All candidates should carefully check and confirm their online registration information. The registration information will not be modified after being confirmed by the examinee. All consequences caused by the examinee's wrong filling shall be borne by himself.
4) Candidates should pay the registration fee as required.
5) Candidates shall cooperate to collect their own images and other relevant electronic information according to the provisions of the registration point.
Those who have not been confirmed by on-site information shall be invalid.
5、Entrance examination
(1)Print admission ticket
Candidates should log in to "yanzhao.com" with their online user name and password from December 14 to December 23, 2019, and download and print the admission ticket by themselves. The admission card shall be printed on A4 white paper, and the front and back sides shall not be altered or written during use. Candidates shall participate in the preliminary examination and retest with the downloaded and printed admission card and valid resident ID card. Candidates must properly keep their personal online user name, password, admission card, resident ID card and other documents to avoid losses caused by leakage and loss.
(2)Preliminary test
1. Date and time of initial examination: (according to the initial examination time published by China graduate enrollment information network)
8:30-11:30 a.m. and 14:00-17:00 p.m. on December 21, 2019
2. Preliminary test subjects: comprehensive ability of management joint test in the morning of December 21 (full score of 200), English II in the afternoon (full score of 100).
3. Examination place: see the admission ticket.
6、Precautions
(1)Candidates should strictly follow the requirements of the professional directory to select the departments, majors and examination subjects. Those who fill in incorrectly shall be responsible for their own responsibilities. The college code, major code, direction code and examination subject code compiled in the enrollment directory are subject to the latest graduate enrollment directory compiled by China graduate enrollment information network and our university. The number of students in the final enrollment plan shall be adjusted appropriately according to the plan issued by the state and the actual application situation of the current year. If there is any discrepancy between the enrollment directory and the national documents of the current year, the national documents shall prevail.
(2)After the on-site confirmation, our school will check the registration information filled in by the candidates online, focusing on the educational background (student status) information filled in by the candidates. The candidates who have not completed the verification of educational background (student status) will not be allowed to take the exam.
(3)Master students can be divided into full-time Master students and part-time master students according to their learning methods. According to the mode of employment, postgraduates can be divided into directional employment and non directional employment. Postgraduates with targeted employment shall be employed according to targeted contracts; Non directional employment of Postgraduates shall be employed according to the two-way choice between themselves and the employer.
The enrollment of full-time and part-time postgraduates shall be subject to the same policies and standards in accordance with the unified requirements of the state. Full time and part-time postgraduates shall implement the same examination and enrollment policies and training standards, and their academic degree certificates shall have the same legal status and the same effect.
A master's graduate student with targeted employment shall sign a targeted employment contract with the enrollment unit and the employing unit respectively before being admitted.
The problems arising from the candidates' application for master's degree and their units shall be handled by the candidates themselves. If the examinee cannot retest or cannot be admitted, the enrollment unit shall not bear the responsibility.
For candidates who apply for part-time MEM in our university, please check the master's enrollment directory and contact the MEM education center to understand the relevant policies. If they fail to meet the policy requirements, resulting in subsequent on-site confirmation, examination, retest or admission, the consequences shall be borne by the candidates themselves.
